about

The music they created initially was sweet, melodic and fragile, but with the introduction of a rhythm section the sound has grown up in many ways. 'Emily' teams joyous and raucous aggression with sweet and personal vocals, combining the purity and humanity of British folk with a more powerful rock sound.

lyrics

This is just a game,
And if it's not to be then there's no shame,
I'm not to blame.

Any place I go,
From sunny Spain to Tokyo,
I hear her name.

Emily, you sailed away from me,
From the shore I can't see your face anymore,
Emily, If you're the same as me,
Then why did you find it so easy to leave?

Don't lie about the reason you came,
You know me and you should be so ashamed,
I'm not happy but it don't matter to me,
I'll see my friends again.

I am all you see,
In front of you and I am sorry if,
It's nothing new.

And I could run,
to the other side of England but my mind,
She'd stay behind.
